By Prince Golez President Rodrigo Duterte said that his spokesman has no fighting chance to win as senator in the 2019 midterm elections. “Si (Harry) Roque (Jr.) gusto mag senador. sabi ko tama ka na, istambay ka,” said Duterte in a speech in Malacañang on Thursday.

“Bigyan kitang bagong trabaho. Hindi ka manalo,” he said. According to him, the soldiers are not keen on supporting Roque’s bid for Senate. “Bakit, mga sundalo ayaw sa ‘yo,” Duterte said. Earlier Roque said he requested to talk to the President about his plan to run for political office.
