PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde showed his frustration to the students of State Universities after discovering that they were joining different anti-duterte rallies. 

In a media interview last Thursday, PNP chief confirmed the so-called "Red October", a strike plan led by leftist groups such as the CPP-NPA and those who sympathize with it. Albayalde also learned that around 18 schools and universities are targeted by the NPA to encourage students to participate and join their group.

PNP Chief Albayalde also released his complaint on the actions of the students, especially the so-called "Iskolar Ng Bayan."

Despite the privilege they get from the government where they are given free education, they are still against the government. “Ito masabi ko… these youth are given free education by no less than the government, hindi ba? In state universities you are given free education by the government and yet hindi ka pa nag-ga-gragraduate you are already going against the same government that gives you free education.” according to Albayalde. He compared this study to the Philippine Military Academy where he graduated. Students here are also free to go to school as soldiers but they must work in the government for at least 8 years after graduation. “Samantalang kami when we were given free education we were required to serve the country for a minimum of 8 years kahit saan,” he added.

Albayalde lambasted the teachers because they encourage the students to join the protest against the Duterte regime. “Eh kung kasuhan kaya natin yung teachers na nag-iinstigate ng mga estudyante? Diba? They should be also charged for contempt, dahil kung anu-anong itinuturo sa mga estudyante, kung meron mang faculty members,” explain the PNP Chief.
